Do oats really contain superpowers?! They sure do! Whole oats give your body an amazing dose of fibre and goodness for a healthy humming digestive system. But wait, there’s more! Oats contain beta-glucan, which has been clinically proven to lower cholesterol and support a healthy cardiovascular system (strong heart – yes please!).

Fresh apples and nudie nothing but apple juice gives this recipe the delicious naturally sweet taste that I know our nudie addicts will love! This recipe is mixed with natural unsweetened yoghurt (high in calcium, protein and a great source of lactobacillus and bifidobacteria cultures – that’s the healthy bacteria you want in your gut). It is so simple and is the perfect alternative to sugary store-bought cereals. Enjoy!

  • Ingredients

    – 2 medium sized apples (grated with skin on)
    – 2 cups of whole oats
    – ½ cup plain unsweetened natural yogurt (for diary free use almond milk)
    – 2 tbsp. of LSA (ground linseed, sunflower & almond meal)
    – 1 tbsp. of pumpkin seeds
    – 1 tbsp. of sunflower seeds
    – 2 tbsp. of chia seeds
    – 2 tbsp. lemon juice (roughly the juice of a whole lemon)
    – 1 cup of nudie nothing but cloudy apple juice
    – 1 cup of filtered water
    – 1 tsp. of cinnamon
    – Selection of your favourite nuts to serve – my favourites are almonds, brazils, cashews or walnuts

  • Preparation

    1. Soak oats, LSA, sunflower and pumpkin seeds in lemon juice, nudie nothing but apple juice, water and yoghurt for at least 8 hours (or you can leave in the fridge overnight).

    2. Add grated apple and natural yogurt. Top with cinnamon, chia seeds, almonds, brazils or walnuts.

    Can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days.
