Our foolproof approach to any smoothie

Here at nudie we’ve gone smoothie mad, which is why we’re super excited to share some delicious fruit-inspired smoothie recipes you can easily make at home. Not only are they simple, refreshing and mega tasty – they’re a great opportunity to get back to basics in the kitchen.

Before we take a deep dive into smoothie heaven though – just make sure you’ve got a blender on hand. It doesn’t have to be all fancy-schmancy, but we do want to make sure our smoothies aren’t filled with chunks and lumps. Wouldn’t be that smooth if they did. OK, here we go!

  • Step by step smoothie guide

    1. First and foremost, add milk or water. You can use almond milk, oat milk, lactose-free milk, full cream, a nudie fruit juice or water. It’s completely up to you.

    2. Now it’s time to add any extra ingredients. For a more filling smoothie, we recommend adding oats or your favourite yoghurt. Note, you don’t have to add anything in this step, it’s just a guide when working with multiple ingredients.

    3. Once you’ve popped in the good stuff, it’s time to include any frozen fruits or veggies. There’s nothing better than an ice-cold smoothie!

    4. If you’re not using frozen fruits or veggies, that’s totally fine, simply add your fresh fruits and veggies instead!

    5. Sprinkle sprinkle! Yep, it’s time to add your mix-ins, like chia seeds, collagen powders – or anything you’d like to include to help give your smoothie that extra somethin’ somethin’.

    6. Blend, baby, blend!
