cooking with nudie


nudie Jelly (best known as nully or Jedie!)

Ingredients 200gms top quality gelatin
A small amount of boiling water
three bottles of 250ml nudie (any flavour works well, except maybe carrot orange & ginger or the smoothies)
One cup of diced and chopped fruit (depending on which nudie flavour you use, we suggest berries, citrus fruits, pineapple, grapfruits and kiwi fruit)
A little natural honey for taste
Grated lemon zest
Instructions
Step 1 Dissolve 200gms of top quality gelatine in small amount of boiling water and then stir in three 250mL bottles of nudie (any mix of flavours - but NOT the smoothies). Then add natural honey until sufficiently sweet.
Step 2 Cut mix of fresh fruit into small bite size pieces (we suggest a mix of some of the following - sliced up oranges, grapefruit, cherries, blackberries, blueberries kiwi fruit etc.) and add to the gelatine mix.
Step 3 Add a little lemon juice and zest from lemon and/or orange and stir mix and then place in a jelly mould or glass bowl in the fridge until set

Serve with thickened cream or ice cream.
